Hello
Hi, I’m Jennifer Griffith, the owner of En Pointe Dance Boutique and a former dancer who has lived and breathed the performing arts for most of my life. Dance shaped who I am — it taught me discipline, creativity, resilience, and the magic that happens when passion becomes purpose. After years on stage, I knew I wanted to continue giving back to the art that inspired me and gave me so many unforgettable experiences.
En Pointe was born from that love. I created this boutique to be more than a place to shop — I wanted it to be a welcoming, supportive space where performers of all ages and levels feel understood, encouraged, and celebrated. I know firsthand the importance of a proper fit, the excitement of new gear, and the comfort of having someone guide you with real experience. Whether I’m fitting a young dancer for their very first ballet slippers or helping a seasoned performer prepare for auditions, I bring both professional knowledge and personal joy to every interaction.
My mission is to uplift our entire performing arts community by offering quality products, expert guidance, and a warm, personal touch. I’m incredibly grateful for every dancer, parent, teacher, and artist who walks through our doors. Thank you for supporting my dream and allowing me to continue supporting yours.
My Story
Jennifer began her lifelong love of movement at just four years old, stepping into her first dance class with the same excitement and curiosity she still carries today. Growing up, she didn’t limit herself to just one art form—alongside her dance training, she also figure skated and cheered, building a foundation of strength, versatility, and performance experience that shaped her future career.
Her passion for the stage led her to perform in numerous musicals and theatrical productions, where she discovered her love for storytelling through movement. As her training deepened, Jennifer earned the opportunity to study at two of the nation’s most respected performing arts institutions: the North Carolina School of the Arts and Point Park University. These years of intensive, high-level training expanded her technique, artistry, and understanding of the professional dance world.
Jennifer went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as a professional dancer, performing in a wide range of works—from classical ballet to contemporary pieces to seasonal productions. She became known for her work ethic, musicality, and heartfelt connection to the audience. Her background across multiple disciplines allows her to relate to performers of all kinds, from dancers and skaters to cheerleaders and musical theater students.
Today, Jennifer brings her deep experience and love for the arts to En Pointe Dance Boutique, where her mission is to support and uplift the next generation of performers in Clarksville and the surrounding communities. Whether she’s fitting a dancer for their first pair of shoes, guiding a parent through performance essentials, or cheering on local arts programs, Jennifer remains dedicated to helping young artists grow with confidence, joy, and the right tools for their journey.
Outside the studio and boutique, Jennifer’s greatest joy is her family. Her family is at the heart of everything she does. She and her husband, Freddie, are raising two wonderfully creative kids—Zavier (14) and Brynlee (11)—who inspire her every day, and they have all supported this dream from the very beginning. Whether she’s cheering at their activities, helping with school events, or sharing their excitement for the arts, her family keeps her motivated and grateful. They are a big part of why she is so passionate about building a space that supports young performers and celebrates the artistic community she loves. Her family keeps her life full of energy, laughter, and creativity!.
